Heat Pump Service Plans in Rotherham and Barnsley: Your Annual Service, Spread Over the Year

What the plan is

£24 a month including VAT, or £26.40 a month in Band A — paid monthly rather than as an annual lump sum.

The plan covers your full annual heat pump service, and adds priority booking over non-plan customers on any additional job, plus 10% off labour on future work.

What's included

• Efficiency and SCOPs checked, so you know the system's still performing as designed
• Dedicated telephone help and support, with priority booking over non-plan customers
• 10% discount on labour rates for any future work

Where your heat pump feeds an unvented cylinder, its annual service is included — no extra charge. That's worth knowing if you've priced this against a gas boiler plan, where the cylinder is a paid add-on. With a heat pump it isn't.

It's the same standard of check we build into the boiler care plans, scoped to what a heat pump actually needs rather than a gas appliance.

What's not included, and why

This is a service-only plan, not breakdown cover, so it's worth being clear about what sits outside it:

• Breakdown cover for repairs to the heat pump, ancillary parts, or the wider heating and hot water system
• Free call-outs or diagnostics if something goes wrong between services
• Refrigerant checks, refilling, or topping up glycol or antifreeze, even if the system needs it

That last point is the main thing separating this from the boiler care plans. A boiler service plan can include topping up inhibitor as part of a routine visit. A heat pump's refrigerant circuit is a sealed system needing F-Gas qualified handling and proper recovery equipment, so charging or refilling always sits outside a routine service and is quoted separately if it's ever needed.

And to be clear about hours: our engineers work Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. Priority booking means plan customers go ahead of new bookings when we're busy, and we'll do our best to attend the same day if you ring during office hours. We don't offer out-of-hours or emergency callouts.

How it works

The plan runs on a rolling monthly payment. Once you've made twelve monthly payments, your annual heat pump and ancillary parts service is arranged for the following calendar month, so the visit is fully covered by the time it's due. We'll call you to book it in.

It's strictly a service-only contract — not an insurance policy, and not a maintenance or repair contract. If a fault turns up outside the annual visit, that's covered separately under heat pump repair, with your 10% plan discount applying to the labour.

Signing up is simple: once you're happy to go ahead we'll send a link to set up the monthly payment, and from there next year's service is already paid for.
